the game posted below is much better imo, that game is showing some actual map knowledge, since it's actual played by a cpm-er. i know people tend to download this more beacuse it's fix.
glad to see fix as always. this game is better than other in terms of raw qw skills, though not in terms of map knowledge....obviously voo knows the map way better simply because of the amount practice time he has put in on this very popular cpm map. this map has fantastic contectivity...but i wonder about it for a few reasons.
i have a few reservations: 1.the airflow should allow for more control i think...it even becomes a bit of problem for fix a few times in this demo. 2. the lifts are too loud for such a tiny map scale. there are guys in qw who could cover this map scale in so quickly you'd be frag_bait dead just as you reach the top of the lift. perhaps a silent lift...not sure? 3. the map scale itself. the speed with which qw players can move means that this map layout, but perhaps on a different, even larger scale would be appropriate. This would be so as to slow down the gameplay a bit. 4. I think this map would play better without a shaft, probably having more of a dm2-big room rl-fight feel. It is my view that this would add more depth, not less, to the map.
Now what i say above is meant to refer to the present search for a standard fifth duel map to ga along with dm246 and aero. But whatever i say, this should be borne in mind: I am just a schmuck who is guessing about this stuff based merely upon my own ideas and experience. I mean no disrespect to povo at all; i think the map is very fun as it is. However i think perhaps a few tweaks might make it a very serious, competitive duel map for qw.
