THIS JUST IN!!! XAMP CANT SHAFT WITH 15 MS!!! OH THE LAG, THE LAG!!!

rar32 ms dos through cmd in xp works great too.
Step 1. dl rar.exe or rar32.exe
Step 2. dl demo and rename it to demo.rar into same director as rar.exe or rar32.exe
Step 3. run cmd from the start->run
Step 4. switch to rar directory
Step 5. type: rar32 e demo.rar
Champ makes everything looks so EZ. Maybe 14 ping is EZ. Dunno because I play with 100 ping and it's not so EZ. A solid game with 2 solid qw gamers IMO :)

im sure champ haxored bolt model two times bigger or replaced player model with shambler B( or hired hagge to sit on his lap :|

fucking computer-nerds who uses rar. whats wrong with winzip? winzip was on this pc when i got it in 98, why should i change to rar now???

console based rar is a waste of your time also (unless u got nothing better to do)

go download winrar 3.x and crack, its like winzip but without the wizard bullshit, just lets u uncompress and be done with it

winzip compresses the damn files...which are tiny anyway, what is wrong with it? it just works and everyone has it, I am so sick of nerds who use winlinuxrar5000 or whatever cos they hate winzip for some tiny stupid nerd technical reasons.

i like winrar for the simple fact that it lets me open both .zips and .rars. has nothing to do with hating winzip and its clunky interface.

use whatever u got.

winrar is just as easy to use as winzip. personally, ive used both over a number of uses (winrar many more times though) and when I use winzip its actualy IN convenient cause it has that dumb popup and then it has the stupid counterintuitive wizard interface and it doesnt support the much more versatile rar format (solid archives, larger dict sizes, etc)

is space so hard to come by now that we'd have to compress 5 min dmm4 demos anyway?

nah, they force you to zip demos when you upload them (for whatever reason).

Powerarchiver is a very good alternative, it opens every archive, and is not bloatware like winrar.

heres an idea: when you install winzip and it comes up with a big fat dialog box with the question DO YOU WISH TO USE THE WIZARD?, (drumroll, brace yourself) chose no?

or if u missed that, turn it off under options/config, or click the big fat button to turn it off that shows when a wizard starts
