Sniiff.. almost shed a tear when hearing ParadokS's very cruel comments on mrlame's quaking skills :( I think we all ought to take up a collection and raise some money for mrlame's therapy costs, a child's psyche can really shake badly from such a shocking behaviour against a sensitive individual. Or, the least we could do is to purchase an economy pack of tissues for our fellow quake player.. *sniff* *sniff*

And just an observation, someone who abuses exploits in server software, should ofcourse be banned, and in my opinion, complained about to his isp's abuse department aswell.

lol the ban from server wasnt strange? kicking nqr admin several times and when also warned first.. well ye that is mrlame.. :) and the only ones insisting on wo was bgsr and we asked them afterwards and they dont seem to wanna play the decider but maybe they have changed their minds..

I've seen the game, para was 100% right about banning mrlame.
Actually i was surprise that para waited so long with that decision. If i was in his shoes i would ban him right after the first kick.

Para wasn't even supposed to have been there. If he was there as a cam, then you do like the cams and stfu. If he's making any comments, degenerative or otherwise, is unwelcome spam that, if I was a player, would tick me off whatever the comment.

Secondly, everyone knows para and lame rub off on eachother badly. This in mind, as an nqr admin, para shouldn't have touched this game with a 10 foot pole - he should have stayed the fuck away and let someone else handle it if it did require an admin (which, I might remind you, most nqr games do not). It's called personal involvement, and it shouldn't even be allowed for nqr PLAYERS to ADMIN games in the same division as they THEMSELVES play in! It's just like a criminal case with para as the investigator and lame as the suspect; his knowing the suspect or having any kind of previous relatation to the suspect (or victim) would result in his immediate dismissal from the case.

Paradoks did not make his first mistake when he banned mrlame, nor when he made his comments. His first mistake was his choice to cam the game when he knew mrlame was playing.

i was cam'ing the game with 3 iop qizmos. if they request minping and i see there is ok big ping diffrence i am not afraid to step in and make a move. There was no argument against it on the server or any wine at all. Infact on top of the minping mrlame rejoined with higher ping to make it even MORE fair. Ok he reconnected during game to get lower ping but that is beside the point. The only time discussion about minping was brought up was after the game when mrlame had been banned and you were looking for more stuff to write about.

And you want comparisons? I suggest you read 123's, that waspretty nice too =)

only difference between football and internet sport is that you pay your football ticket and that ticket give you some rights as spectator too. Also i think its a little bit difference case to compare that someone really kick your ass than you get your ass kicked on gaming server.

Well paradoks, you always chose whether there are any arguments or not, and people believe you, that - you know that very well... And there shouldn't even be any minping if we don't ASK for it, did we ask for it? No. When it was set, i for one did whine, cause it sucks playing with that shitty ping... Maybe you didn't see the discussion about playing on reppie's localhost either? or in south africa ? I remind all those things, as well with an exact ms-number from the south african server from mrlame: 220ms... BUT NOOOOO, WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY PARADOKS-VALID ARGUMENTS AGAINST IT. If you don't remember anything of those lookbacks, it's your problem, but you still wouldn't have set minping.

And why don't you just face it, CAM _OR_ ADMIN, CAM should just stfu... that way you wouldn't even got kicked... ADMIN, sure... do your thing (even though no admin was needed), and then stfu, don't judge any of our players plz.
If you are BOTH cam and admin, you should see to both "rules" ... stfu, and just do your thing(that you weren't even needed to do)

i think the whole discussion has become a bit stupid.. like discussing every little thing in the game now just to look for more stuff to blame paradoks for something it feels like... the banning thing is the only thing to be discussed imo.. cause that was maybe the wrong thing and that is what didnt make the game happen... but i think he already kinda admitted that.. he said he acted first and thought later... and i dont see the whole interfering thing.. when it comes to the minping.. i think nqr admins that interferes with games is great.. he is just trying to help and assist if he is there? and do u really think he putted the minping to piss you off?.. and like paradoks said, mrlame even reconnected with 70 ms to even get more fair ping... so during the game it didnt feel like u cared so much.. its just now when u wanna blame para...so i think you should just skip the min ping thing.. althou another thing: i didnt notice it, but mrlame said that on e1m2 we had the same avg even without minping.. so maybe the minping was wrong on the e1m2, but why should that be paras fault? since we asked for minping, and when u didnt even say that it was fair without it, and mrlame pinging up also.. so paradoks was just trying to help?, if we all on the server would say "paradoks can u remove minping cause its fair without it".. and if he doesnt remove it then..
