it's not like there's any money on the line, there's no reason to spend 9 fucking hours at mega on dm4.

dm4 demo is like watching paint dry, very unlucky for dare at walkway B<<<<<<< after that he hits him with a rocket (?) and survives with 1 h \o/

no one should blame inter if he did a little cs at megahealth.. i mean, it's not inter?s fault if the map allows that kind of playing and basically encourages players to do it when having the lead... this is just another good example why i think dm4 should go.

I'm so tired of people whining at players who stays at mega when his oponent is spamming rockets! If you want him out of mega then stop spamming rocket and pines in that direction!!! HOW HARD CAN IT BE!!!

What is the reason for inter to play this stupid cs-style while having such a great aiming and movement skill? I have no idea :/

What are you talking about? Have you even watched the demo? Inter spawned at mega and was kept inside with rl and gl spamming.

it is so hard to get out of mh alive, if i am in there i think it is a bonus to come out alive.

only reason i would come out is if i needed to die quickly and hope i get a lucky spawn and catch up frags. if i got a lead, hey come and get me.

Anyone of you who is saying playing TO WIN is lame, should get their head examined. It is a fucking tournament, you DONT WANT TO WIN?

Inter played dm4 100 % correct, waiting for the dm4-noob to make mistakes. And he did. Dare sucks at dm4 compared to Inter, no doubt.

It is the fucking map who promotes this kind of play, that is, IF YOU WANT TO WIN.

Are you gonna blame Inter for wanting to win?

Time for some retarded ppl to wake up and play other maps?

i find it rather funny to play against 'cs'-ing players, becouse it push u to the limits. if ur down 1-3 frags on a map and theres only a few mins left u know u gotto do a perfect attack otherwise the game is lost. either u do a perfect attack or u will break and loose. on dm4 dare broke down, he couldnt handle the situation. but on dm2 i got that 'perfect' attack and manage to get a tie, forcing him into trying to kill me again. btw... why isnt anyone flaming becouse dare camped low rl for like "9 fucking hours"? just curious. i hope any of this makes sense the next time i read it, writing it at 03.50 am after getting approximately 3.5hrs of sleep. :<

didnt watch dm2 as neither of you are dm2 players. but if dare camped low as much as you camped mega then that is indeed lame. also, i love men.

if you dont play too win, why play at all? you won't perform your best so you might aswell not play.

if you dont want tactics play dmm4.

i dont like playing people playing CS either, but in a tournament i'd do it myself too :) .. in prac it's different imo, but in a tournament i think you have to be able to master all sort of play (defensive/offensive), so its nice to have these maps in the mappool and i think they're great to watch :)

^^^this saying above is wise^^^

If playing a defensive style is so lame and terrible to spectate, then i think Link is right about getting new playing_fields into the game. However, I believe these standard maps are just fine. It is possible to crack a guy playing defensively at the MH on dm4; it is just hard to do. Can anyone recall the mighty columbo and his take out of kane at the tgi with his amazing shaft? That was courageous and brutual and effective... I would not like to see these Id maps abandoned, though i know some would, rather I would like to see the skill level raised one notch further so that the defensive style is not as rewarding. The defensive skill set and offensive skill set in qw is always on a pendulum and tends to swing back and forth; right now the pendulum of the skill set being polished the most is the defensive. Soon we will see a new swing of the pendulum toward the offensive skill set...at least I hope so:)

Jeez, who cares how many ppl play using deffensive skill? The fact is that reppie, insane, milton play offensive skill and they r taking leading positions on every qw tournament. So for my mind the time of deffensive skillz has gone forever...

So i mean, the time of COMPLETE cs-style has gone :) Of course a good player should spend some time on easy_to_keep places while being hunted by his 200/200 opponent... but that style which is shown in demo-pack above is completely wrong

who cares. If you dont like it, dont watch. If you only play for fun then this doesnt matter for you cause you shouldnt be entering tourneys anyways.
