I thought locust was top1 DM4? Well, his last two matches there have been loses, to Locktar and this one. :-( .. Maybe "tiger" had bad luck? :/

Fine, there's no such thing, but lately there's been a lot of talk about him (obviously because he's very good), but he lost to locktar, to avenger, and I bet if he had played reppie, he would lose too. And of course there are others who could take him down too.

What's my point? I don't think there's even a "top 3" for dm4. If there is, I doubt locust is in there. I know Griffin/Reppie are probably in there for sure.

locust is one of thos guys who can peak on a good day very high, to beat anyone

i guess consistensy is the number one thing that separates a true dm4 champion

why griffin/dag do not take part on duel comp-tions?

For locusts defense he hadnt played a game for 5days, and before that game it was like another week ago. So he is pretty much out of shape right now.

error: What was locust's ping vs. Avenger? A player that is ONLY good in one map, and added to that, ONLY good with 13ms... zzz. Just doesn't convince me. And now another excuse: His main weapon is shaft, and can only be deadly with low pings. Blah!

If his shaft is so good, say, 5-10% above his opponent, when both have 13ms, then even if they both had 100 ping, his shaft should still be better than his opponent. If it isn't, then he needs to build skills on higher pings, as many have stated. A player must have some BallZ to complain about ping, when the opponent has the same! Just get used to it! It's the SAME conditions for both, no advantage for anyone. =/

And just to clearify something: I didn't see locust complain about ping, so I'm not saying he did. But others have said so in his defense...

when ur weapon is ur shaft not having its lethality on dm4 can be very annoying and cost u the game is what error was getting at

its so intrigue, 10 years of qw and TB3 only, what time do they need to know TWO other maps. seems like big EGO. many many players who hadn't know ztn and aero just 2 years ago made these maps their home-maps in tournaments like dm. anyway its seeses' explanation not their own :>

or maybe the just dont find the other maps funny/good. like ztndm3. it really sux. bad item placement for one. really sucky spawns for two. for three? whatever.

avenger out skilled Locust in every way on both maps. aim, tactics and brains.

Locust got a 10 frag lead and tried to play CS and still couldnt do it.

Locust is not top dm4 player at all, didnt know any one even thought that. I can think of about 10 players who can take him down.

Every one loses so get use to it. Its about who wins the most out of the best that counts.

there is a big diffrence tho in being good in tournaments, and being good when just playing for fun.

btw, is it a big problem to start tb3-only tornament?

avenger clearly played a better game. however dm4 plays completely different with 13 pings. did you notice how easy it was to come out from ra ken? also lg gets a lot better with lower pings so if your main weapon is shaft you want low pings since at ping 50 rl is clearly stronger. not taking anything away from avenger though. his strategy and aim was superb.

#26 Error and u are right dm4 with 13ms its diferent than at 50ms. But dont think that locust could do anything else with 13vs13 cus: Shaft is on both sides not only locust got it and second he can kiss enemy ass at dm4 if his main weapon is lg and no tactic.

Anyway all this discusion about ping/better players/lg and other stuff as explain "bad days" its just pathetic :(

1. a player is never at his best 2. locust lacks routine of compogames, wich is completely different to practice rounds wich many people doesn't seem to realize. When it comes to competitiongaming, nerves decide and not ping or lg. Btw you don't win games by having a good shaft

I agree, I lack routine of compogames. But still my shape that day was very poor, hadnt play for 2weeks and warmed up by watching a 3h StarWars movie. Im sure I would perform better if I just would had kept playing without any breaks...

But I do think avenger is a better player than me. I still got much to lern thats for sure!
